"How can we come to the Temple, listen, ask questions, and obey like Jesus?" Luke 2:41–52
Now comes the riding
In STRATEGIES 1 you learned the five strategies and told your first stories. In STRATEGIES 2, you practice and develop that skill until it becomes your own. Learning Bible storytelling and dialogue is like learning to ride a bicycle — you have already had your first ride; now comes the riding that makes it natural, confident, and yours for life.
Over two intensive days you will learn stories, tell them, and lead group dialogue through the 7 Steps of Bible Storytelling & Dialogue — again and again, in a small group that is learning alongside you. By the end, you will have done the whole thing, several times, with coaching at every turn.
Small groups, real practice
Almost everything in this training happens in small story groups, where every participant takes a turn telling and a turn leading.
- Five full storytelling & dialogue sessions — each one led by a participant, start to finish, through all 7 Steps. Everyone tells. Everyone leads.
- Story learning activities — you will learn Bible stories in your own spoken language using a simple method that works without memorizing word-for-word.
- Coaching at every step — after each session, your group reflects together on what was done well and what to aim for next time: always two genuine compliments, always two attainable goals. You also receive personal coaching from an experienced instructor.
- Four practices from Luke 2:41–52 — come to the Temple, listen, ask questions, and obey, like Jesus. The training teaches you to build these into every storytelling session you will ever lead.
- A storytelling celebration — the training ends with the stories themselves: telling, testimony, and sending.
Typical format: a 2-day intensive. Flexible scheduling is available for local contexts.
Being a Bible storyteller
You leave STRATEGIES 2 not with notes about a method, but with stories you can tell tonight, the 7 Steps practiced until they are yours, and the ability to coach yourself and others as you keep growing. This is the difference between knowing about Bible storytelling and being a Bible storyteller.
From first steps to confident practice
STRATEGIES 2 is for those who have completed STRATEGIES 1 and want to move from first steps to confident practice. If you have heard the stories told and felt the pull to tell them yourself — this training is where that skill is built.

"Before I came here, when I tried to teach, I would feel like I don't know how. This was actually my prayer request before coming. Here I learned how. My thinking is now organized. I know how to prepare well. I think I know now what to do." Sunday School Teacher — North Africa
