Strategy 5 — Good Seed Strategy

TRUST

Use God's Word as Spirit & Life

"It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life." — John 6:63 · NKJV

There is something deeply liberating about this strategy. Of all five, it is the one that asks the least of you — and promises the most.

You do not have to convince anyone. You do not have to convict, manufacture a response, or ensure the right outcome. That work belongs to Someone else — and He is far better at it than you are.

Where the Word Is, the Spirit Is

In Hebrew, ruach — the word for breath, wind, and spirit — is one word, one breath. When God breathed life into Adam's nostrils, He breathed His Word-Spirit into human flesh. The Bible does not separate God's Word from His Spirit. Where you plant God's Word, the Spirit is already present. You are not bringing Him into the room. You are giving Him room to work.

The Spirit's Work Is Not Your Work

"When He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment." — John 16:8 · NKJV

Not you. Not me. The Spirit. When we take over the Spirit's work — when we push for a response, try to force change, fill every silence with our own effort — we do not help. We block. We fill the space the Spirit was meant to occupy.

When You Step Back, He Steps In

"The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword." — Hebrews 4:12 · NKJV

When you use God's Word faithfully and step back, something remarkable happens: people begin to wrestle directly with the Living Word and the Living God. Not with you. Not with your opinions or your personality or your persuasive ability. With Him. And He is more than capable.

Do Your Part. Trust the Rest.

"…he knows not how." — Mark 4:27 · NKJV

This strategy does not mean passivity. It means doing your part — planting the Word, building space, asking questions, holding silence — and then trusting the Spirit to do what only He can do. The farmer plants and sleeps and rises, and the seed sprouts and grows, "he knows not how." He does his work. He trusts. And the harvest comes.

What You Will Discover

Of all five strategies, this one asks the least of you — and promises the most. In this training, you will discover what happens when you stop doing the Spirit's work for Him. You will plant the Word faithfully, build the space well, ask a good question, hold the silence — and wait. You do not have to convict anyone. You do not have to manufacture a response or ensure the right outcome. That work belongs to God. The farmer plants and sleeps, and the seed sprouts and grows, "he knows not how." Your part is faithfulness. The harvest is His. Join our STRATEGIES 1 Training to practice all five strategies together.

Use God's Word. Make space. Step back. Trust.
